SARAH, 40, is a nurse at the Children’s Health Center in Halissa, a multi-ethnic and poverty neighborhood.  For two years, Sarah tries to get pregnant.  Her desire for a child is intertwined with the difficulties of a young mother until they reach an illusionary solution– the impossible gift of a baby.

SARAH, 41, is a nurse at the Children’s Health Center of Halissa, a multi-ethnic and poverty neighborhood in Haifa.
Sarah wants to become a mother. For the past two years she has been undergoing fertility treatments but without success.
At the health center, Sarah treats Anya’s baby. ANYA (18) lives with SALAH in very bad conditions. They are waiting for a visa to leave Israel. Sarah becomes increasingly dedicated to Anya and her baby. The two women grow closer.
One day, Anya enters in Sarah’s office, completely distressed- her baby will have a better future if Sarah rase her. Anya put the baby in Sarah’s arms and run away.
It looks like Anya has just abandoned her baby. Sarah's colleagues want to call the police but Sarah opposes it. She is taking the baby back to her mother. But Sarah discovers the couple has gone. Instead of bringing the baby back to the health Center, she finds herself running away with her.
Finally, she is hiding at Anton’s home. Anton makes it clear to Sarah, she has no choice but to entrust the baby to social services. This time, Sarah and Anton will get very close. In the early morning as Anton brings Sarah home, they find Anya, asleep in front of Sarah's door. She left Saleh and came back for her baby.
Sarah offers Anya and her baby, to stay with her. Maybe together they will overcome their difficulties.
