Most Israeli films are supported by five Israeli film funds funded by the Ministry of Culture and Sport of the State of Israel. These funds are: The Israel Cinema Project by Rabinovich Foundation; The Israel Film Fund; The New Fund for Cinema and Television; The Gesher Multicultural Film Fund; and The Makor Foundation for Israeli Films, as well as The Israel Fund for Film Production, funded by the Israeli Film Theatres owners, all funds work together to form a sustainable, creative, and vibrant Israeli film industry.
International co-production is a mainstay of the Israel film industry, creating creative and financial cooperation and partnerships and mutually-beneficial relationships between Israel and varied film industries from around the world. Apart from functioning as a source of information distribution of Israeli films, we also hope this digital platform will also promote such International co-productions.
